RESILIENCE

Burnout

In the fast-paced world of helping professions, where compassion and empathy are key, burnout can often become an unwelcome companion. Ever since the COVID pandemic I have seen a need for those in the helping professions to find a space where they can safely process their own personal trauma and fatigue so they can sustain the passion and dedication that drew them to helping others in the first place. It’s important to explore the intricacies of burnout, identify its warning signs, and have actionable strategies to prevent and overcome it. My practice will help you stay attuned to your own nervous system and emotional needs. The best helpers help themselves first.

Executive Coaching

Over the last 20 years, I have worked individually with many executives who have sought my help whenever their personal life begins to interfere with their high profile role within the company. We work conjointly to identify how stress, depression, and anxiety can affect productivity and overall job and life satisfaction. I am trained in administering various personality assessments to help target your blindspots and areas for growth and change. My clients appreciate the human perspective I bring to coaching as well my level of expertise with treating anxiety and depression.

Following are a few reads that I often recommend to Executive Coaching clients:

  • Susan Fowler, "Why Motivating People Doesn’t Work"

  • Harvard Business Review, "17 skills for Leadership"

  • Kerry Patterson, "Crucial Conversations"

  • Sheryl Sandberg, "Lean In"

  • Simon Sinek, "Start With Why"

  • Shawn Achor, "The Happiness Advantage"

  • Paul White, "The Vibrant Workplace"
